‘Pray for peace, unity of Nigeria’

Muslims across the country have been tasked to use Eid-el -Kabir celebration to  pray for peace, unity and the security of the nation.The Chairman  of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr  Zakito Umar believed that  no meaningful development could take place without the help of the Almighty Allah.
He prayed that God would give their leaders, especially  President Goodluck Jonathan, the state governor, Captain Idris  Wada  and Elder Friday Sanni member representing the area at the State House of Assembly the wisdom and understanding to pilot the affairs of the country.
Speaking, the National Chairman of Odolu Development Association, Chief Akowe Oguche, said the Almighty Allah would  give  leaders the wisdom to  lead the people in the right direction.
He,  however, praised  the local government chairman  for not betraying the people’s trust, but urged him not to relent in his bid to ensure speedy development of the area.
Also,  Alhaji Tahirudeen Abdullahi, called on the people of the local government to remain supportive of the Zakito-led administration in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of the state.
