Oshiomole advocates national summit on unemployment

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has said a conference on youth unemployment should have been a priority in place of the proposed National Conference by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Oshiomhole gave the advice in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday shortly after the ‘Mega Rally’ marking Governor Kayode Fayemi’s third anniversary in office.
Describing the proposed national conference as a misplaced priority, Oshiomole stressed the need to engage the youths productively in the interest of peace, security and development.
The governor, expressing his support for the view of a national leader of the AllProgressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on the conference, urged the President to give attention to employment generation.
