The Oyo State House of Assembly Special Projects Monitoring Committee has commended Akinyele Local Government chairman, Alhaji Abiola Ambali on good standard of projects been executed
Giving the commendation was the chairman of the committee that went on inspection tour of projects in the local government, Honourable Rafiu Adekunle, who opined that projects embarked upon were of high standard.
Commending the caretaker committee chairman, Alhaji Ambail, while inspecting a block of three classrooms, headteacher’s office and a toilet built at Islamic Mission Primary School, Moniya, Hon. Adekunle said that the lawmakers would intervene on dilapidated buildings in schools and advised the local government to forward a letter to the state Universal Basic Education Board so that such building could be refurbished.
Other projects inspected included Agbagba-Barracks Road, Moniya, Alabi Safori-Orogun Road Junction, Islamic Mission Primary School, Moniya and Neighbourhood market at Olorisaoko Village.
Responding, the chairman lauded the lawmakers for deeming it fit to go on inspection of works been carried out in various parts of the state, saying that the government of All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Senator Abiola Ajimobi was resolute in making life meaningful for the people through development projects.
Alhaji Ambail, however, stated that the local government would not relent in complementing the restoration agenda of Senator Ajimobi.
Other members on the committee were Honourables Ibrahim Bolomope, Segun Olaleye, Samson Ojo, Akeem Oladipo, Kehinde Oloya, Matthew Abioye and Segun Ogunwuyi.
Meanwhile, the chairman, has enjoined the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to be self-dependent.
