‘Kidnapping can’t take root in Lagos’


The traditional head and overlord of Ajah and Okun Ajah, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, Chief Fatai Abiodun Olumegbon has stated that kidnapping is a vice that could not take root in Lagos.
Chief Olumegbon made the statement in his Eid-el-Kabir message at his palace in Ajah.
He debunked the rumour  that there was kidnapping in Lagos State, adding that it could not be the order of the day like it was happening in other states.
“Olofin, our progenitor has promised us that there would be no war in Lagos State, even the Biafra War of 1967 did not extend to Lagos,” he said.Speaking on the crisis in Ajah, he said it was caused by the elite and urged the people in the community to continue to pray for peace in the area and tolerate one another.
