Keshi Relishes Italy Test, But…

Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi is happy he will be linning up his team against four-time world champion, Italy in an international friendly in London come November 18 this year but the Big Boss is not happy with the timing. The match comes up just two days after the second leg of the 2014 FIFA World Cup play-off tie against the Waliya Ibex of Ethiopia in Calabar. This meanns the Eagles will have to depart Calabar for London immediately after the game.“It would be a good test for our preparation for the World Cup, but the timing is my only worry. We would not have time to rest for the game after playing against Ethiopia, Keshi said.  We would most likely head to either Abuja or Lagos to proceed to London, meaning we might not even have time to warm up before the game.“In any case, we would see how it goes but it would be a good test for my team ahead of the World Cup,”Keshi told mtnfootball.Keshi will also parade a team of players from the local league for another friendly in Amman, Jordan, later this month. (DEAR READER, you have the right to express your opinion here.
