Anti Saraki’s group wants Baraje, Saraki and Ahmed sanctioned


By Henry Umoru 18-10-13ABUJA- ALHAJI Abubakar Kawu Baraje led new Peoples Democratic Party, PDP yesterday suffered a major set back as stakeholders and leaders from his home state, Kwara stormed the Wadata Plaza, National Secretariat of the party and demanded that the former Governor, Senator Bukola Saraki, present governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and Baraje must be sanctioned by the Bamanga Tukur led National Working Committee, NWC.Led by Alhaji Suleiman Alada, the PDP stakeholders from Kwara who called on the party leadership to ensure discipline and unity amongst party members in the state, stressed that if the party leadership does not take drastic steps to address the situation on time that lots of damage would be done to the party in the state and however disassociated themselves from the Baraje-led splitter group of the party, describing it as “a cabal commanded by a relegate group which calls itself the new PDP.Alada who spoke for the group stressed that the Baraje led new PDP was not known to any law of the country and was therefore not recognised in the state, adding, “the new PDP as far as we can recognise in Kwara, is a party that has been …
