Young ladies including students have been advised against pre-marital sex so as not to fall victim of teenage pregnancy in their tender age.
The assistant General Manager, Premier FM Station, Ibadan, Mrs Bolatito Joseph gave the advice at a one-day seminar, organised by the Abiye Group of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
Mrs Joseph, while counselling the girls on the danger of teenage pregnancy admonished students not to lose focus so that they would not become young mothers as they would be the losers for it by bearing the pain and losing their education in the process.
She said that everything that has a beginning must have an end, while enjoined the participants not to have pre-marital sex and wait till they must have achieved their dreams in life after marriage stressing the need to make patience and determination their watchwords.
Mrs Joseph, however, thanked the Chairman, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State, Mr Yunus Olaosegba for the financial and logistics support he has been given the media house all along to sustain the programme.
She also sought for the local government continued sponsorship of the programme.
